In years gone by, Dr. Tim Ward, a highly recognized ecotoxicologist from the New England area, operated a small contract laboratory. Being a creative scientist with a strange sense of humor, Tim began drawing cartoons based upon laboratory testing. He decided to share his creations with the scientific community and so he began a tradition of sending out a new cartoon every April Fool's Day. Tim sent out cartoons annually for ten years. The scientific community was devastated with Tim closed up shop and stopped sending his cartoons. Luckily, after almost ten years, Tim Ward has returned to the contract laboratory world and ABC Laboratories believes it has a public responsibility to re-instate this time-honored April 1^st tradition. Therefore, it is with great pride that we distribute the first, newly created cartoon illustrated by Tim and based upon ideas from the bizarre minds of Tim, his son Kevin, and other just as strange ABC scientists.
